Transfer excel data to access

I'm trying to transfer data from excel 97 spreadsheets to
access table by using the command TransferSpreadsheet.

But I got an error message "Run-time error'2391',
Field 'F1' doesn't exist in destination table".

Pls help.

Hi,

Sounds like a problem with the field names in your table or in your Excel
spreadsheet.
Do you have the colum headings in your Excel spreadsheet? If not add them
and set the TransferSpreadsheet Heading option to true.

This sounds like the problem described at

There are a couple of solutions suggested in that article. Alternatively
you can use a SQL query on the Excel sheet to do it in one go: Jamie
Collins has posted examples in this group recently.
