Tranfer files pc to pc with crossover cable

Help! Have two desktops on Win2k. Connected the
crossover cable. They both see the 'server' in the
network places - but I can't copy files back/forth. I'm
just trying to take 100 files from one PC and copy to the
new one. Any ideas? Thanks. Layne
