Is there a way you can log on to MS or some site and trade in your copy of
W2k that is on your computer and have it install a new, clean version? I
have so many viruses that have written all kinds of things to my files, that
every type of "scanner" for viruses finds all different things wrong. I
don't have any CD because my computer came with the software loaded or I
would just reinstall the whole thing. Please help. I have no productivity
anymore from this computer!! I am willing to erase my whole hard drive
except w2k to do this process.

There's no legal way to do what you're asking for.

Check with the manufacturer of your PC, since they are responsible to either
provide you with CD (restoration or system) or some alternate method to restore
your system to its as-built state.

No. You will need to have the Win2K CD-ROM or a disk image to reinstall the
operating system.

The computer should have come with a method of reinstalling the
operating system and purchased applications. Please contact the place
you purchased the PC from for the details to do this.
