The receipt is a read receipt (not a “Not read†or “Deleted without being
read†receipt) from an internal source that elected NOT to send any
receipts.
The source verified that his selection did not change. However, I’m
getting
read receipts since 24 hours without any knowingly changing any setting in
Outlook. We are using Exchange Server 2007 (no settings changed there
either).
Thank you Brian, anything I can do to change the behaviour?Brian Tillman said:There's some evidence that a recent update may have modified the behaviour
of Outlook that causes it to ignore the "don't send" option the case of
unread messages being deleted. There is also some evidence that Microsoft
is aware of the problem.
