Tracking female classmates maiden & married names in Outlook?

I've created a Contacts list in Outlook to track classmates in preparation
for a high school reunion. There doesn't seem to be a way to "field" maiden
names for the women who have married and changed their surname. It would be
super handy to be able to sort and search by either. Web and help page
searching doesn't yield any good advice so far.

Change the Contacts folder to a Table View - PHONE LIST is good. Then Use
the Field Chooser to make a new Field called Maiden Name and populate it.

You can sort by this field by clicking its heading.

I voted for it, but user fields and notes would be good places for the info.
In addition, you could put "[nee vanden Heuvel]" in the last name or middle
name field so that you could do field-specific searches. ("Nee" is French
for "Born".) Also, many use hyphenated last names or use their maiden name
as a middle name.
