Tracking Down A Driver Problem

I've been plagued by crashed applications, blue screens of death and
other weirdness. When I submit the internal error to Microsoft, I
always get the same thing from Online Crash Analysis:

"Problem description: A device driver installed on your computer caused
the problem; however, we cannot determine the precise cause."

It's been way too long since I installed any drivers, so I can't do a
System Restore.

Is there any way to systematically track down which driver may be
causing my problem?

A great tool in xp is by going to run,type:VERIFIER Its used for that
purpose,however get the facts on the utility thru microsoft before you run
it.
