We can't build a database for you. What have you done so far? What's
stumping you?
We need a specific question that we can answer in a paragraph or two.
There are a lot of variables in this. Do you want the database to do
something to accrue days, or will you add them? I have a table and form
where I do this, but I go in and add my 20 days in the beginning of the year
and then I add a new record with a negative number each time I take a day.
My form pulls only details from the current year. I have a button that will
show me the previous year and the next year. If I carry over days from the
previous year, those would also be added as an entry to my table with a
positive number.
I only do this for me and my small team of about 6 people, so it is pretty
easy to maintain. I include notes to indicate the reason (if any) for a
day. I also add records for sick days, but I put the quantity as "0" so
they are really just notes.
