Can anyone point me to a template or existing free db that could do the above?

trying to help out a friend who rec's monthly sales data in an excel
spreadsheet.

Set him up with a solution to track this, but... as new salespeople come on
& others leave... it is not a simple paste for him.

Thought there might be somethig I could customize a bit so he could import
the data.

Not looking for rocket science here, just a simple-ish tool

Maybe I'm dreaming..........

Thanks all for your time & assistance!

If you're looking for an Excel solution, you may want to ask in an Excel
support group. The Microsoft webpage can be confusing; the first group
alphabetically is this one, for the database software Microsoft Access. You
may want to scroll down and repost in an Excel group.

On the other hand, Access may indeed be a better solution for the problem.
Without knowing more details of what's being recorded it would be hard to give
a specific solution, but to keep track of sales is something Access can do
well - you'll need to do some learning to build a database to do it though.

Yes, I was hoping for an Access solution.

What kind of details do you need to help?
