Hello:
I am attaching tracert output to FreeBSD.org

Tracing route to freebsd.org [216.136.204.21]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 3 ms 2 ms 2 ms 192.168.1.1

9 94 ms 108 ms 57 ms freefall.freebsd.org [216.136.204.21]

I don't understand what do ms values in every line mean.
Say line 5 84 ms 51 ms 69 ms . What is their significance ?

Thanks!

The article doesn't explain the significance of these 3 values (line 5
84 ms 51 ms 69 ms ). I want to know why their are three and what
do each imply. what does 84 ms mean ? what does 51 ms mean ? and what
does 69 ms mean ? Its measure of what ?

Then Google around for articles that will help you do your homework!
This Google search has lots of links to articles that go into deep
technical detail:
