My 8 yr old laptop has TPM1.2 on it.
But is not upgradeable.
Can I use a software TPM2 to run Windows 11?

Cracking good laptop that has served me well.
A pity to get rid of it.

And has x2 8GB RAM (Max 16GB)
 
Update.
Thinking is I will buy a 2nd user Windows 11 laptop when I need to. I surf mostly on my Mobile as I only have 125GB of data a month to use. Happy if someone wants to lock thread
 
You need to upgrade from Win 11 to Win 10 ... forget about TPM.
