I know this is not a specific XP problem, but I was wondering if anyone could
help me out anyway. When I purchased my notebook computer, the touch pad
setting was that the top portion of the pad was only used for moving the
cursor around and did not enable dragging or clicking. However, recently I
redid my computer including reloading my registery and know the settings
allow for dragging and clicking with the top portion of the touch pad. I
wish to return to the old settings because I have found myself clicking when
I do not intend to, i want the clicking/dragging only to be activated with
the right and left click buttons below. Can anyone help guide me through
recovering my old settings? THanks, snakevin

The touchpad options should be accessible from the Control Panel/Mouse applet. There should be a enable/disable touch to click option.
