Totals on report which uses a crosstab query for its record source

I have created a report which uses a crosstab query for its record
source but I am unable to create totals in the Page Footer.

The column I need the Total for has a header of AP and the control
source is set to AP. When I create a Text Box in the Page Footer with
the control source set to =Sum([AP]) the resulting report simply
displays #Error.

What am I doing wrong?

Duh ... I was putting it in Page Footer instead of Report Footer. I
have moved it but for some reason the footer does not appear on
reports! I have added a label that should appear but I cannot see it on
the report ... strange :blush:(

Shade the background of the Report Footer section to make it identifiable.
Also make sure its Visible property is set to Yes.

I think I was just too tired. I had a look this morning and was
surprised to see that the total is there ... I just had not checked the
second page.

Well, I did used to be blonde ;o)
