Select cell A1 in Sheet3, and enter an equal sign, now use the mouse to
select Sheet1 - cell A1. Enter a plus sign and select cell A1 in sheet2.
Press enter
The formula in sheet3 should look like:
=Sheet1!A1+Sheet2!A1
