Total security certificates meltdown

Every single website, including our internet provider sign-in, shows an
"unsigned or expired security certificate" warning. I could not directly
access this forum, security certification is unsigned. Wondering why my
system doesn't recognize ANY internet security certs anymore.

Check the date and time on your computer, it's probably way off. I recently
encountered this problem myself on a laptop with a long-dead battery.

Thanks for your reply Mr. Riley,

Indeed, by chance I happened to notice at some point after my post that
there was smething not quite right about the date. I thought perhaps some
pesky virus had done it's thing with the calendar. Still not sure what
happened. For a few short hours I had the unique experience to be a visitor
from the year 2120.

Reset it and all is fine. Thanks again
