Thanasis

hello to everyone,

i have a question regarding my web site "greek-properties.biz".
At the top right of each html page there is a banner (banner.jpg) which is
not visible anymore.
However when i open my site locally i can see this banner.
When i publish my site i can't see it.
Why does this happen?

Best wishes & happy new year
Thanasis

It shows just fine in my browser.
Trying clearing your browsers' temporary
internet and history files.

Dear Steve thanks for your reply,

a friend of mine just said that it shows fine in his browser too.
What is my problem then?
i cleared temporary internet files and history.
When i open my site locally i can see the banner both with IE and NN.
However when i open my website from the web
(http://www.greek-properties.biz) I CAN'T SEE THE BANNER.

I checked your source code
and the only error I could find was
bottommargin is misspelled in your opening body tag.
It is spelled bottomargin and needs to be bottommargin.
( according to my validator )

Don't know if that will make a difference because it
displays correctly here anyway.
Other than that I'm stumped, especially if the
other jpg images on the page show.!!

Dear Steve thanks for your reply,

i'm stumped too.I have designed quite a few websites and is the first
strange problem i encounter.
Do you think it is a virus?
But when i open my site locally i can see the banner.
Only when i open the site from the web both IE and NN don't show the banner.
Do you know a newsgroup where could i find a solution?

wishes
thanasis

Some ad aware software will not display an image called banner.jpg!! Try
renaming your image, 'toplogo.jpg' or something like that.

Thanks a lot!!!!
