I need to have a word doc with the first page having a 3inch top margin but
all the rest of the pages with a 1.5 inch top margin. Not all of the files
are more than one page as they are templates but when they become two pages
they have to be 1.5 inches on the second page. How do I do this? Thanks

In File / Page Setup / Layout / Headers and Footers, select "Different first
page." You will then need to make spacing adjustments on the first page
header to allow for more space. NOTE: This change will effect your footers
also. If the footer is to be the same on all pages, all you need to do is go
to the footer on page 2, do a select all (Ctrl/A) copy (Ctrl/C), then go to
the footer on page 1, do a select all (Ctrl/A) and paste (Ctrl/H) - THEN
delete the extra paragraph symbol.

Paste is Ctrl-V.
