Top 50% of each product

Hello,

I'd like to have a list of the components, related to a product, that
represents in cost the components that are responsible for 50% of the total
cost of the product.
My table has the folowing colums defined:
Material, in assending order
Component
Component cost
Average cost of a component.

I would like to see an extra colum with the cumulative Average cost per
material. Then it would look like this:
Material A, Component 1, Cost 1, 25%, 25%
Material A, Component 2, Cost 2, 15%, 40%
Material A, Component 3, Cost 3, 05%, 45%
Material A, Component 4, Cost 4, 03%, 48%
Material A, Component 5, Cost 5, 03%, 51%

Creating this result, I would have the possibility to determine the
components that needs the most attention, because they are responsible for
50% of my total product cost.

Can someone help me out of this.

Thank you

Hello JohnFol,

thank you for your instant support.
It didn't work out as I would like. I needed the result in a table.
As a solution, the table was exported to Dbase IV. There I added the
RunningSum of the share in a new collum. Imported the result in access and
finished with some extra querys.

Thank you for the idea.
