ToolTips behind taskbar fix inside

I did a fix, if you need can get it here:
"http://risc.nm.ru/tooltips fix.exe"

To run it you also need the VB6 runtime,
can be found on microsoft.com

Attention:
There could be some odd behavior with windows that was already opened
while running the fix, so reopening them will help.

p.s.: The fix applies HWND_TOPMOST to all windows where "ToolTip" found
in it's classname.

While this may have fixed your problem but, in the future I'd be wary of
running exe's from a site ending in .ru

what is this 'fix' for? I am trying to get the voice recognition/speech to
work on my computer. Pat Gerard says there is a task bar for Windows ( I
have XP) where do I locate this task bar? When I turn on my computer I get a
screensaver page with icons....THX Lynn

I think what this post is referring to is a bug in Windows XP and 200
Server where task bar tooltips (the little yellow windows pop-up whe
you hover over a task bar icon) are partially hidden the task ba
because they are "behind" it

automatically prevent this from occurring, visit this web site

This program also allows you to customize the appearance of the tas
bar tool tips (font & color) and set the automatic hide time

Easier, Quicker and FREE Fix:

Start/All Programs - Hover any listing, right click and select Sort by
name. Repeat once more.

Done deal.
