tools to bypass a local proxy server

I normally use OE to hit the newsgroups -- however, at my
new job the local proxy server doesn't allow nntp to pass
through. Using the community newsgroups webpage at MS is
kind of a pain. Any tools around that I can use to tunnel
nntp through port 80?
 
Never mind... the compay has its own news server, so I don't have to go
directly to news.microsoft.com.
