Tools for Replication

What utilities can i use to see if replication between sites is working ok?

Setup: I have two DC (Server1 and Server2)in City B and one DC (Server3) in
City A. The two cities are connected with a point-to-point T1 connection.
Server1 and Server3 are GC servers. All workstations are in City A.

In AD Sites and Services I created 2 sites one City A and the other City B.
I then under the subnets folder created the two subnets. and assigned the
appropriate sites to the subnets.

You can use repadmin. This is a tool you will find on
the Windows 2000 Server CD under SUPPORT/TOOLS (you can
also get it from the Microsoft site). Use
option /showreps to see the replications.

If you go to the microsoft site support section, you will
find several article that explain how to use repadmin.

Yes, replmon.exe is a good tool. There's also the command line tool
repadmin.exe.

Also, have a look in the Directory Service Event log. If there aren't
warnings and errors being logged by the KCC every 15 minutes, then
replication is working!!! ;-)
