Using MS Office 2001 on Mac OS 9 iMac (OK - its old but it pretty much does what I need). Word launches fine and all the shortcut command keys appear to function OK (those that I can remember), however, none of the pulldown menus work. Example, when you click (or hold) on 'Tools' on the toolbar, nothing appears below. This is the same for every button on the toolbar

Any help is greatly appreciated.

PS. For Mac-specific problems (like this one) that involve glitches with
Word, or software/hardware interactions or installation issues rather than
manipulating Word itself to produce a document, you are probably better off
posting in a Mac newsgroup:

microsoft.public.mac.office.word
microsoft.public.mac.office
microsoft.public.mac.office.excel
microsoft.public.mac.office.powerpoint
microsoft.public.mac.office.entourage

You can access these through the MS site, via Google Groups, or by setting
up a newsreader.

For direct links to the Google interface for Mac NGs:

For the substandard interface on the MS site:

Newsreaders are usually most efficient--here's a link on how to configure a
newsreader (e.g. Entourage or Outlook Express)

Entourage:
