Toolbar mismatch. This is a good one.

I have Yahoo Companion Bar and Norton Antivirus Bar in my
IE 6.0 windows. If I go to VIEW -> TOOLBARS-> and I
uncheck Norton then Yahoo Companion Bar hides and If I
uncheck Yahoo Norton hides. I de-installed Yahoo
companion and only the names dissappeared from the tool
bar section, but there is a blank space with the check
mark. I re-installed Yahoo and same thing the option are
swap. VIEW->TOOLBAR-> yahoo takes hides or unhides Norton
and Viceversa. Any help without reinstalling Norton.

No real idea but I suspect Yahoo is the culprit.
I have a friend who has the same mismatch with Yahoo and Google bars
but she is quite able to manage the situation and told me not to
bother investigating.

This is funny because I have a mixmatch with Google and
Coolbar. At this time I just make a note that they are
switched. That is the least of my problems with IE. At
the current time I am unable to use MSN Explorer and when I
use IE 6 , windows update will not download the updates and
links that should show up in a new window don't unless i
stop the search and refresh the page. Something is up with
IE 6.
