Toolbar buttons and transparency

Hi, I use VS2005, CF1

I create a toolbar and a button on it. I use a 16x16 .gif picture with 256
colors and I mark one color from its palette as a transparency key (in
Photoshop). But at runtime this color appears as the white color although the
toolbar background is gray.

So what is the right solution to have transparency when creating toolbar
buttons?

Not sure if something has changed since VS.NET 2003 but check this threads

Hello Daniel,

Unfortunately I can't get it working. Some people say: take icons insead of
pictures - it is not suitable for me. Other say: it is a bug in the generated
code part so rewrite it somehow - I try but no success yet.
