Help. My students have somehow hidden the toolbar and
menubar from the window when we access Word. That's when
we are logged on as "student". When I log on
as "administrator" the window is fine and all the toolbars
are accessable. My "tech coordinator is stumped. We've
tried restoring the buttons, but it doesn't work.

You can try moving the mouse to the gray area at the top
of the window and right click. This will bring up the
menus selection options.

Or you might try replacing (or simply deleting) the
NORMAL.DOT file. While logged in as the Student, do a
Start/Search to find this file and then delete it. Restart
Word and everything should be back to factory default.

I've had to do this in my work group from time-to-time.
