too much network activity after installing SP2

I'm using a new IBM desktop computer, after installing service pack 2, I
noticed two much network activity going out from the computer to the network.
I activated the log and I noticed this in the log

this activity is almost killing my network and servers.

You're help will be appreciated

Check for spywares first! SP2 does not normally add more network
traffic/activity than XP or SP1.
