I have recently bough an FS 1010. I see that cheap toner cartridges
become available on Ebay (normally about £25). These claim to be
original and unopened.
However, having purchased some, I find that the printer does not
recognise them - the toner empty light stays on even after installing
the new cartridges.
The machine is not faulty as my supplier replaced it, and there is the
same problem with the new one.
Both machines worked properly when new (full price) cartridges were
installed.
Has anyone else met the same problem? Is there a workaround? Or do I
have to stick with buying the full price expensive ones?
