Tone detection

Hi - I am looking for any examples of detection 1khz tones in dotnet -
or ActiveX for that matter. I wish to detect when the tone starts and
when it stops. Unfortunately, I am finding it very hard to find any
information on this. Can anyone help?

What hardware are you using? A sound card? I don't have "exactly" what you
want, but if you go to my homepage and select PC Data
Acquisition/Software/Sound Card you may get close.
