TOC's from fields within headers

Hello
Is it possible for Word to generate a Table of Contents from fields located
within headers? I have documents with many sections, each with a header and
a title. I want the titles of each section to be shown in the TOC but Word
doesn't seem to look in headers for these fields.

Any help would be much appreciated.
 
No, since headers by definition appear on more than one page, content in
headers is not suitable for a TOC.
