Hi,
There is no error message, when I start a program the box
"enter name of file to save to" opens, if I press save it
saves the program .exe file to my documets, if I cancel the
box i am left with Netscape running

The problem started when I tried to open a saved file and
got the "choose program to open with box" I accidentally
opened it with Netscape and I think the box "always open
with this program" was ticked

Do I copy & paste into a word doc and save it as something.reg
then open regedit.com and go "File-Import (something.reg)-
then click yes on key restore box

Save the contents to a notepad document and save as filename.REG [beware of double-extensions]

Sorry didn't cure the problem
but it has stopped trying to save it
also when re-booting after importing to registry
I got the error message

Netscape.exe application error
The instruction at "0x0040569e" referenced memory at
"0x00000000" The memory could not be read

This only happened once & hasn't re-occured
