To Play a PPT on TV do I need to convert?

Hi

To play a powerpoint presentation on a TV, do I need to convert this to a
movie? It's quite basic, no sound or big animation. Only some fading in and
out, but the pictures need to stay in a high res.

Hi.

You don't need to make it to another filetype, if you use cables or a
projector.

Not to be negative but I wouldn't get my hopes up ...

Normal NTSC or PAL TV is a low resolution medium.

"TV" and "high res" are an impossible combination. You can't have both, not
unless you've got an HDTV rig.

Follow the other links supplied, but don't be surprised when the results don't
look as good as they do on your computer.
