To Ping Or Not to Ping: That's the question!

Hi Guys!

I'm using a Laptop with Windows XP Pro. I'm able to ping all computers
on the network, but they can't ping my notebook! Windows XP firewall is
disabled! What can cause this kind of behaviour?! This issue indicates
a hardware problem concerning my network adapter?

Erik can you ping your yourself? If your netwrok card was broken, then
you can't ping other computers. How are you ping via host name or IP?
