Ken, for some reason I can see your post in the list
(reply to mine) but cannot access the contents, nor can I
see your full email address to email you directly. Can you
please email me directly with the answer? I had asked how
to open Windows 98 documents (in Microsoft Word format)
once they are transferred to a new computer which only
uses Windows XP. Sorry for this hassle and I appreciate
your help. Thanks.

use WordPad - if you select Files of Type All in the drop-down box WordPad
will open Word documents.
