Hi,

In Excel Workbook I have 5 Sheets with Different Names.

I had accumulated 5 Names in Sheet1 in Column A

COIL CATCHER
DOOR - INSULATED
DOOR - UNINSULATED
DOOR LOCK STRIP
GI - Z

Now i want that if i place my cursor to the Cell No: A5 (GI - Z) and
press a shortcut key then the cursor should go to that Sheet whose name
is (GI - Z).

Is this Possible. If this can be done then it would be a very handy
toold for me.

Thanks In Advance.

Look at this one-liner:

Sub Akash()
Sheets(Selection.Value).Activate
End Sub

1. assign a shortcut key to this macro
2. click on ANY cell that contains a tab name (worksheet name)
3. run the macro an you go to that tab

This tiny macro will work on cells in any row or any column in any sheet.

Hi Akash

Copy-Paste next code to Sheet1-module.

Private Sub Worksheet_SelectionChange(ByVal Target As Range)
Select Case Target.Column = 1 And Target.Row
Case Is = 2
Sheets("DOOR - INSULATED").Select
Case Is = 3
Sheets("DOOR - UNINSULATED").Select
Case Is = 4
Sheets("DOOR LOCK STRIP").Select
Case Is = 5
Sheets("GI - Z").Select
End Select
End Sub

Is that near what you need?

One formulas option to play with, via using HYPERLINK
Assuming the sheetnames are in A2 down
Place in say, B2:
=HYPERLINK("#"&CELL("address",INDIRECT("'"&A2&"'!A1")),A2)
Copy down to create the corresponding hyperlinks to each sheet's cell A1.
Hide away col A. Test it out. Clicking on the hyperlinks in B2 down will zip
you to the particular sheet.

Why not just insert a hyperlink to the sheet you want. One click and you're
there.
