To - From Column mix-up

Somehow every single one of my folders in Outlook decided to change the
default view from having "From" to having "To" displayed (in the From,
Subject, Sent, and Size column headings in the reading view). I have gone in
and manually changed about half of them but I notice that when I now create a
new folder it shows up with the "To" and not the "From" column also.

I'm using Outlook 2003 with SP2.

Anyone have a better recommendation then getting corporate IT to schedule
when to come in and reformat - again.

In View - Arrange By - Current View - Customize Current View, is the Reset
Current View button clickable? If it is, then the view has changed from its
default and if you don't have any other changes you are worried about
saving, click it.

No such luck. Reset is not clickable in that window - what a bummer, I was
hoping it was something that simple.

This has been nagging at me. What view *is* on the folder? If you right
click on the top-most folder in this particular tree, go to properties and
Administration, what is the Initial View on Folder set to?

I want to thank you for your help. I'd love to tell you what view it was on
but the latest corporate push actually got the To(s) and the From(s) back
where they should be. I'd think I was crazy but several coworkers actually
saw my odd computer (the only one in our area acting this way).

I have had exactly the same problems! I'm ready to throw myself off a cliff.
And our office doesn't have an Exchange server. so I'm on my own!

Well, I'd ask you the same question. But, on the other hand, I'm not
entirely sure what the problem was so you might want to give a little more
information.

What version of Outlook?
What type of mail server? POP? IMAP? Hotmail?
What exactly are you seeing?

These other users are not going crazy (as far as I can tell). This happns to
me also.
Running Outlook 2007 with our Exchange server.
This does not happen all the time, but sometimes when I open Outlook or
change from Calendar view to Mail view, the From column is gone and it is
replaced by the To column. I right-click, remove the To column, add the From
column, and everything is fine until it changes back.

This is in my Inbox and the initial view is set to Normal.
