Hi C.,

With some limitations as to active content (scripts, etc) you can open a web document using File=>Open in Word and changing the file
types to include .HTM, or if you're in Internet Explorer you may find there an entry for File=>Edit in Microsoft Word.

To include the web document within another document
Word 2007: Insert=>Text=>Object|v|=>Text from file
Pre 2007: Insert=>File

I wonder what you want ('need') here. 'Display a web page' can mean so many
things.

If you want to have a web page embedded in your document - but see (the
start of) the content instead of the icon. I don't think that's possible;
you're stuck with the icon.

If you want the web page content incorporated into an existing document -
try Insert > File

If you want to edit the web page by dragging and dropping then drop on the
Title Bar instead of in the document body.

If you want something different, come back.
