I just installed a couple of Win2K Pro systems (as a novice).
When I analyzed the disk before defragging, all the files were on the right
of the [graphical space area] (as if when you install Windows it puts {and
keeps} the files at the center of the disk).
After defragging the disks, all the files are on the left side of the
[graphical space area] (I assume toward the outside of the disk).
Is one location better than the other ... Or... is the [graphical space
area] just to give the illusion of organization or "neatness?
Thanks, Tracey
