What would you suggest then? :)

I would like 2GB (1 x 2) PC3200 - i don't want to spend a crap load though, even though i have a good job! This is just like a temporary upgrade for now until i look to set out on a whole new system later on in the year perhaps.

Well this is a factory PC :(

There's a programme to tell me what one i have somewhere around isn't there?

This or this if mb is ok, which it should be. Maybe worth waiting until your ready to build a new rig. :)

Seems so, but i won't start from scratch for a while yet, as i have my education and such ;)

So i'll buy 2GB <3

Btw, is there much difference between DDR and DDR 2 etc?

I've found a good priced - DDR400 RAM ... any good? :)

Ahh ok DDR it is.

It's from Ebay so you'll probably tell me not to but this is a temporary upgrade!

I went to PC World today and not paying 90pounds for 2GB.

Rather just pay a simple 30pounds! :p
