.tmp files when start using XP

Start using windows xp professional. Lots of .tmp files
have been created everyday in c:\. Also found lots
of .tmp files created in the root of our file server
share. Those .tmp files are empty. Is there any way to
get raid of them.

Have you tried just deleting them in normal fashion?
