Ok Im creating a switchboard for a database using a blank form. How do I
place a tittle in the form header?

I think what you want is to set the Caption property of the form to what ever
you want to display in form window's "title bar".

No, I just want to be able to put some text in the form header that is not
bound to any other forms reports or fields

The more "stuff" you put onto a form the more clutered it will become. Try
and use the least controls you can to achive the results you want. Access
forms have a option to add a title to a form built in - you don't need to add
a lable

John's answer was the best idea
