Switchboard not linking to populated form

I used a database wizard (Contact Management) to create a new database. I
then created a new form in my database and added a new item on the
switchboard to link to this form. When I view the form from the Database
window, I can view the records entered onto the form. However, when I click
the button from the switchboard to go to the same form, a blank form appears
that does not have the records that are entered on the original form (and
associated table). I have tried deleting the item from the switchboard and
adding it back on, but this hasn't made any difference. Any assistance you
can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Bethany

I feel a little silly that there was such a simple solution, but - thanks for
your help! :)

Do yourself a favour and dont use the access switchboard. It's a mess
and quite tricky for a newbee to crack open and figure out... build
your own from a blank form - there's not much that you will use on a
customised home made switchboard that the button wizard can't do for
you anyway. You will end up with something you understand and have
greater control over and probably look much prettier!
