Title column in web view FP 2K

Rick Wickert

I seem to have lost the Title column in web view. Existing are: Name, Size,
Type, Modified Date, Modified By and Comments. Can't seem to find any way to
add the Title column to the view. Any help appreciated.

Go here: http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm and download a copy
of
FP Cleaner.
Run the function that restores the Default Toolbar settings.

If the issue still exists, run regedit and go to this key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\FrontPage\Explorer\FrontPage
Explorer\Settings

In the right panel right click on the following values "if they
exist"and clear the Value Data:
and then click OK. Do "not" delete the Value Name, only the data.

FilesDetailColumns
FolderDetailColumns
FolderDetail Columns

Restart FrontPage and see if the issue is resolved.

Steve, thanks for the info. Is this fix (FP Cleaner) acceptable for Windows
XP SP2?

Yes it is, and you should use it
- but it probably won't address your issue
Try closing Folder List View and reducing the size of some other columns
- if all else fails try a Help Detect & Repair

Thanks Stefan, I didn't use FP Cleaner, it seemed to fix itself.
Weird...maybe scared it by DL'ing FP Cleaner :) Gotta love this computing
thing, always surprises.
