Hello,

On page 1, the text's style is Normal. Then on the second page, I type a
title: Boat manoeuvres, apply Style Title 2 but Word only displays the
correct formatting but without the number. I can get the number if I insert a
space in front of the title but when I update my TOC, the number does not
appear.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,

Luke

Is there a manual page break between these two items? If so, remove the
break and use "Page break before" formatting instead in the latter
paragraph.

In Word 97--2003, use Format | Paragraph, Line and Page Breaks tab, to
add the formatting.

Note also that if all paragraphs using the Title 2 style should start on
a new page, you can add the formatting to the style.
