B
Broomstick
The left mouse button of my Logitech optical mouse has gone weak. Clicking
it became a hit and miss ordeal. Had this been a cheap mouse I would've
just bought a new one. But I've grown fond of optical mouse, which is more
expensive. So I dug up broken old mouse (normal mouse, non-optical one)
whose buttons are still in working order (they click when you press them),
use soldering iron to remove one of the plastic switch box and then use it
to replace the weak left button of my optical mouse. The left button is now
clicking like a champ. This is the first time I used soldering iron in
decades (literally), but I managed to do the job right first time. Goes to
show that this is really an easy job.
