TINY PC- on/off switch

Hi all,

Just signed up as getting frustrated with my Tiny PC at home.
After operating successfully for couple of years the on/off switch
started to become temperamental, sometimes working ok, other times only
after several presses. It has now stopped functioning after I switched
it off a day or two ago. Have taken front panel off and cleaned
contacts etc but nothing! There is power to the main unit as I hear
buzzing but any suggestions gratefully received.

Have you put a multitester (on continuity) across the leads to confirm
that the momentary contact switch is in fact shorting when you press
down on the button? If it isn't, then you have, at the least, a
mechanical failure in the switch.
