Time read-out on desk top?

I usually have my taskbar hidden and have to keep touching it in order to
read the correct time. Is there any way I can move the time read out to my
desk top and off the task bar? I know in Vista this is already available. I
use Win XP Home Edition. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

No, but there are third-party desktop clocks available. Google will
turn up several choices.

Thank you Ken for your time and the Google tip. I always trust the MVP's to

You're welcome. Glad to help.

There are lots of knowledgeable helpful folks here, though--not just
MVPs.

Just wanted to say thanks again. I took your advice and went to Google and,
wow, that's a lotta clocks. I have one now and it works well, also a new
clock screensaver. I'm not yet ready to try Vista. Too many problems yet,
even if it has a nifty desktop clock. Thanks again Ken. Steven, Northglenn, CO

You're welcome again. By the way, I run Vista here, and have *no*
problems with it.
