Tile or Cascade multiple worksheets or documents

HELP!

I've just upgraded from MS Office 97 (to Officwe 2003) &
cannot figure out how to TILE or CASCADE multiple
worksheets on my screen. Under Office 97, it was a
simple - Hit Windows, then Tile.

The instructions for Office 2003 tell me to right-click
the Windows Taskbar. WHAT and WHERE is the windows
taskbar??

Please if anyone can answer this in a hurry, email me at
(e-mail address removed). This darn thing is keeping me from
getting work done!

Thanks so much,
Barb

Try this:

Create a new window for each sheet you wish to display.
<Window> <NewWindow>

Then,
<Window> <Arrange>
Choose the pattern you would like to use,
And then click on "Windows Of Active Workbook".
Then <OK>.

When you've finished with the WB, make sure you close the extra windows
(<Ctrl> <W>) before you save and close the WB, or else all those windows
will re-open the next time you open that WB (OR, might you want that to
happen?).

Thanks for the rapid response, RD. But on Office 2003, the "Arrange" option
is not listed on the Window pull down menu (as it used to be in previous
versions). Instead the Help Pane tells me to right click on the "Windows
Task Bar." Does anyone know what the heck the taskbar is (as opposed to the
toolbar)?

Thx again,
Barb

The Windows Taskbar is at the bottom of the screen, where the Start
button, and System tray are. If Excel is open, you'll see one or more
buttons for your open Excel files there.

If you right-click in an empty part of the Windows taskbar, a shortcut
menu appears. From that, you can select one of the tiling options. That
will tile the application windows though, not the Excel files.

To tile the Excel files, you can use the Window menu in Excel. If you
don't see the Arrange command, you probably have short menus enabled. To
change this --

Choose Tools>Customize
Select the Options tab
Add a check mark to 'Always show full menus'
Click OK

Now, choose Windows>Arrange, and select Tiled
