Update: Actually what I would like to create is a master document (i.i a book
of all policies) and be able to make updates to it and also have the updates
show on the individual policy files at the same time.
Word has a Master document function, but it is notoriously capable of
corrupting your documents http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/General/WhyMasterDocsCorrupt.htm
You can however use IncludeText fields to include separate documents in a
document. Provided you update the fields, they will show the current
information from the linked documents.
