I'm new to using Thunderbird. Just been using it for a couple of weeks
and like it a lot. When I was playing with it the first day, the
contact list that I had imported from OE was displayed in the lower
left corner of my layout display, just as OE used to show it. For some
reason, I closed it. Now I cannot find a way to open that pane again.

How can I regain that layout?

TIA- Betsy

View then layout then contacts sidebar or just hit F4

Hi & thanks for this reply.

View-Layout is the first place I looked. I don't have the option you
mention. All my Layout menu offers is:

classic view
wide view
vertical view
message pane (F8)

Make sure you have the contact sidebar extension installed. If not get
it at http://jpeters.no-ip.com/extensions/?page=tb_cs
