Thumbnails of photographs

When an auto thumbnail is clicked the full picture opens but with a white
page as a backround. How can I get this page to open as a black page with the
full picture on it?

You have to create a individual page for each large image, and then link the thumbnail image to the
specific page.

The thumbnail is linking directly to the large image, not to an html page
with the image contained in it. that is why you get the white background.

The easier way is to make the thumbnail, then put the large version of the
image in a page on its own; then link the thumbnail image to the other HTML
page.
