thumbnail question

FP2000 to FP2002

I redesigned a used car website for a client with FP 2000. The have
someone there that was editing their old site and will continue to edit
this new version in FP 2002. Unfortunately all the can do is follow a
set of directions, even though they've been using FP2002 for almost a
year now on their old site. So I wrote a 5 page set of directions (with
pictures) that went into the smallest detail of how to exactly edit the
new site. I even set up Photoshop with an action set that automatically
resizes and compresses their images and saves them directly into their
website folder. But they're still confused!!! One if the things I don't
have any clue about is the thumbnail feature (I always create my own).
They say that in their old website all they had to do was drag a photo
into the page and it would automatically thumbnail the image. I can't
find any reference to auto-thumbnail anywhere in my help files (except
for the auto-thumbnail button) could this have been the result of a
FrontPage theme on her old website? Or is it a new feature in FP2002?
And if so how do I activate it?

This probably seems trivial, but any step that I can eliminate will
help!

There is not auto feature, they had to click the image and then select to
make a thumbnail.

That's exactly what I thought but I just got off the phone with them and
they said that they just opened up their old site and inserted a picture
an it automatically shrank to thumbnail size. I'm going over there in a
couple of hours so I'll watch the "process" and try to see what exactly
is going on.
